Prior to his government tenure, Peter worked in private practice at a reputable tax resolution firm, focusing on complex matters such as international account disclosures and intricate tax controversies.
Before entering the legal field, Peter spent several decades in the banking industry, culminating in an executive leadership role overseeing five departments within a credit union. His broad professional experience gives him a unique perspective on financial systems, regulatory compliance, and strategic problem-solving.
Peter holds an LL.M. in Taxation, a J.D., and an M.B.A. in Business Management—an academic combination that reflects both his legal acumen and business insight.
